Hello Rising Freshman Families!
In case you have not done so already, please fill in this google form, that will allow students to be contacted by their section leaders. We also need accurate polo shirt sizes to order and distribute summer uniform polos.
If you are starting to wonder what you will need to buy as far as uniforms go, you can see more information under the RESOURCES tab above. Here is the uniform information file from last year that you may find useful.
Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding, as many logistical changes will need to be implemented to our usual routines due to social distancing.
All freshmen will be contacted by their section leaders in June with additional information to welcome them and ease their transition, such as marching instructional videos and Zoom intro sessions that the squad leaders are currently preparing.
July 4th : UA Independence Day Parade, and all related rehearsals have been canceled.
The Salvation Army/Camp Swoneky, where band camp takes place, has made the decision to close the camp for the summer. Mr. Fessler would still like families to save those dates in hopes of having practice sessions at the school.
July 28th – July 30th : Pre-Band Camp Rehearsals from 8 am – 12 pm
*Leaders start on the 27th/no Freshman
July 31st : Picture Day at 8 am (not clear if picture day, and the uniform fittings that usually precede it, can happen due to social distancing – stay tuned for more info on that)
August 3rd – 8th : Band Camp Replacement
Please be sure to check the band calendar for more detailed information and continued updates. The calendar contains more details on time and location and is updated regularly.
