Holiday Flowers

The Band Holiday Flower Sale starts this week! We are using the same exact vendor we used last year – Foertmeyer and Sons (FundraiseIT) Unfortunately, due to the wildfires in California there will be no greenery available. ORDERS WILL BE ONLINE ONLY even though catalogs will be passed out in class.

This year, we’ll have two ways to raise dollars. You can raise money for your personal account or raise money for the band scholarship fund.  If you raise money for your personal account, you can use this money towards band fees or trips in the future.  If you raise money for the band scholarship fund, this will go to help students who may not be able to easily afford a future band trip (if you choose this option, you can jump to the end of this email).

PERSONAL ACCOUNTS – HOW TO SET UP YOUR STUDENT’S ONLINE STORE:

  1. Look for your student’s name and find the web sale code.
  2. Go to www.fundraiseIT.org
  3. Click the green “Online Shopping” button
  4. On the next page, enter your student’s “Web Sale Code”
  5. Follow the onscreen prompts to obtain your student’s shopping cart URL. We recommend putting in the parent’s email address when asked. The URL is unique to each student. The URL will display on the screen and be emailed to you.
  6. Share your assigned URL with relatives, friends, and on social media to get all the sales you’d like.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND – HOW TO HELP OTHERS

Use the URL https://app.fundraiseit.org/shop.php?code=AC6B2 for the general scholarship only.  This is not for personal accounts.  We will ask you to help deliver flowers to customers once they are received by Marching Band.

Additional details:

  • Flowers will be delivered to the Marching Band right before Thanksgiving. You’ll be responsible for picking up your orders and delivering them to your customers. (Location and time to be determined.)
  • Sale will close on October 19.
  • To see the orders placed for your student’s account:
    • Go to www.fundraiseIT.org
    • Under PARENTS click “Check My Student’s Online Sales”
    • View all of the orders placed using your sellers unique url
