PLAYOFFS: This Friday, Nov 19, is the fourth playoff game of the season! Upper Arlington will be playing Pickerington Central at Westerville Central (playoff games moving forward will be at neutral sites). Although initially the band was not going to play at this game, the team needs the incredible spirit the band generates band members are encouraged to participate if they are available. Parental help is needed: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0d4ca9af28a13-1115

PLAYOFF GAME TICKETS: We received the following information about tickets for playoff games, including the game this upcoming Friday.
The Ohio High School Athletic Association runs all post-season tournaments and we abide by the association’s rules and processes for contests.

  • Tickets will go on sale at 9 AM on Tuesday via ohsaa.org/tickets OR the HomeTown Ticketing App.
  • Tickets prices are $10 (presale) and $12 (starting at 4pm on Friday).
  • Children 5 and under are free.
  • All tickets are digital (NO CASH).
  • Passes are NOT accepted for tournament contests (senior citizen, UA season pass, teacher badges etc).

In general, because this is the first experience the Boosters have had with the playoff games, and because it will planned week-to-week, please keep an eye on these emails as plans develop each week. Thanks for your patience!

MIDDLE SCHOOL CONCERTS THIS WEEK: The middle school bands are playing Nov 16 (Hastings, 7:30 pm) and Nov 18 (Jones, 7:00 pm). Some help from high school parents is needed: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0d4ca9af28a13-1115

NEXT BOOSTERS MEETING: A Boosters meeting will be held January 11. There will be no meeting in December.

NEW SPIRITWEAR: There is a new site for the purchase of spiritwear: https://teamlocker.squadlocker.com/#/lockers/uamb-spiritwear. Our new marching band logo is featured prominently, and there are many items to choose from!!

CONCERT THURSDAY: The concert is Thursday, Nov 4, at 7:30. Volunteers are needed to help with uniforms:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0d4ca9af28a13-indoor.

This Friday, Nov 5, is the second playoff game of the season! Upper Arlington will be playing Reynoldsburg at HOME. While there is no spread planned, the students will be fed prior to the game Nov 5. The timing of this is TBD.  Parent volunteers are needed to help make this a great night for the band. Please visit the Signup Genius and help out, especially if you haven’t helped with events yet

This Friday, Oct 29, is the first playoff game of the season! Upper Arlington will be playing Thomas Worthington at HOME. While there is no spread planned, the students will be fed prior to the game Oct 29. The students should plan to be at school at 4:30 for the pregame meal. As always, parent volunteers are needed to help make this a great night for the band. Please visit the Signup Genius and help out, especially if you haven’t helped with events yet

BANDQUET AND CONCERT: Thursday, Nov 4, is the marching band concert at the high school at 7:30. The band will celebrate the season beforehand with the Bandquet. Note that plans for this differ from prior years. Only the students will be fed at the Bandquet, starting at 6:00. At 7:00, the students will get ready for the concert, which starts at 7:30.

99 PLEDGES: There are still a few days left for the 99 Pledges fundraiser! Please continue to support this fundraiser until Nov 1! If you need assistance with this, please contact Rebecca McClung at bakergirl26@me.com.

NEXT FUNDRAISER: Once the 99 Pledges fundraiser is over, we will be selling holiday flowers. Watch for information about this over the next few weeks.
